Upload my bill
The PDF your DISCO emailed, or a photograph of the paper one. Either saves typing seven fields, and the history table at the bottom settles your tariff status from what you actually used rather than from a guess. You check everything before a single number is worked out.
Before you upload
- The file is sent to a third-party AI provider to be read, whether it is a photo or a PDF. That is the only way this works, and if you would rather not, the form takes the same figures typed in.
- It is never stored. Not on disk, not in a log, not in a database.
- It is sent once, to be read. It is not kept and not sent again when you ask a question afterwards.
- What we read off it stays in this browser tab until you close it, and is sent to the AI provider each time you ask a question about your bill.
- Your name, address and the QR code are not read at all. They are not part of what we ask for, so there is nothing to leak.
- Your reference number is not read either. The company name printed on the bill is enough to know which DISCO you are on.
- Nothing is calculated until you have checked every field on the next screen.
If your DISCO emails you a PDF, send that one. It reads more accurately than a photograph, because the figures are text rather than a picture of text.
Photographing it instead? Get the whole page in frame, including the twelve-month history table at the bottom. That table is what tells us your tariff status without you having to guess it.
Estimates only. Reading your bill is not the same as checking it. This tool does not model GST, duty, surcharges or the TV fee, so it cannot produce a figure comparable with the amount printed on your bill and will never tell you a bill is right or wrong. Billing disputes go to your DISCO.
