Bill assistant
Where your electricity goes
Nine short questions, most of them optional. At the end you get where your units are going, what the next one costs you, and whether solar would pay.

What this tool does, and what it will not do
It does not check your bill. It cannot tell you whether you were charged correctly and it does not try to. Every figure is an estimate built from the notified tariff and from typical equipment ratings, not from a reading of your meter. If you think your bill is wrong, that is a matter for your DISCO.
It works out the energy charge and the fixed charge. It does not model GST, electricity duty, the TV fee, or the surcharges that move month to month. So the figures here will not add up to the amount printed on your bill, and are not meant to. If you enter your bill total we use it to work out your real all-in rate per unit, which is the one honest bridge between the two.
The tariff is the notified 2026 schedule. Where a rule is genuinely unsettled in the published documents, this tool says so rather than picking a number. The protected-status lookback period is the main one.
Where your answers go
The form is worked out on our server and nothing is stored. Your answers are held in this browser tab so the assistant can use them without asking you twice, and they are gone when you close it.
If you ask the assistant a question, that question and those figures go to the AI provider that answers it. Nothing else does. A photograph of a bill is read once and discarded. It is never uploaded anywhere as an image.
